GE Lighting is bringing together key figures from the worlds of sustainability and business for its second Illuminated Minds roundtable discussion in Monaco, designed to challenge the status quo of current energy efficiency systems.
The roundtable, which will be streamed live from 3pm – 4pm Central European Time (2pm – 3pm GMT) on 30 March 2015, will build on the themes of last year’s event, with a focus on the need for disruptive technologies and new business innovations that have the power to drive and inspire change.

The discussion will also explore the role of ‘Big Data’ and data based analytics, looking at how this new wave of information can be applied to deliver greater efficiencies for business customers, individuals and cities.
The roundtable will be hosted by Agostino Renna, president and CEO of GE Lighting EMEA and moderated by Kate Johnson, vice president, Chief Commercial Officer – Enterprise Solutions at General Electric, who will be joined by Clay Nesler, vice president, Global Energy and Sustainability at Johnson Controls; Gundeep Singh, founder and CEO of The Change Initiative; Serge De Geldehre, CEO of Futurproofed and John O’Brien, vice president of media strategy at the OutCast Agency.
Agostino commented: “Our first Illuminated Minds roundtable in 2014 brought together leading thinkers in commercial innovation to consider the sometimes massive hurdles that stand between vision and results. The power of big data and entrepreneurial spirit were the key themes that kept recurring in the debate.
“This year, the discussion will take the concept a stage further by really honing in on exactly how we can apply these lessons, with the aim of delivering solid outcome based solutions for the real world.”
