Workplace Week Convention 2015: Full Programme Announced
In under a fortnight, Workplace Week will be in full swing… and on Thursday 12 November, Advanced Workplace Associates’ renowned Convention promises to inspire entrepreneurial managers up and down the country to put the workplace at the heart of UK productivity, whilst ticketed events and tours throughout the week will raise funds for BBC Children in Need.
This year’s Convention, which takes place at KPMG’s Canary Wharf Auditorium will address an array of topical issues and shall pose a series of thought-provoking questions: what can we do in the workplace to improve theproductivity of people and organisations? How does leadership, culture, design and technology fit in to increasing the effectiveness of every individual, team and community on the payroll? How can Real Estate, Facilities, Human Resources and IT processionals join force to make a dramatic difference to the productivity of the people and organisations?

| 9.20am | Ben Jones: The CBI’s Economist with responsibility for Productivity Research will be talking about the economic data, what it means and CBI’s current ‘macro’ thinking on improving UK Productivity. |
| 10.00am | Peter Cheese: The CIPD’s CEO talking about people and skills and how HR can combine with Real Estate and Facilities leaders to make a real difference to performance. |

| 11:15am: | Eric Barends: CEO, The Centre for Evidence Based Management: Shares the latest Workplace PIN study on the factors that impact on the working of the brain. |
| 11.45am | Andrew Mawson: A founding Director of AWA and Director of AWA’s Cognitive Research programme will facilitate the Workplace Week ‘Designing the ‘cognitive’ workplace exercise. Looking in-depth at how HR, Facilities, Real Estate, Design and IT could work together to support cognitive performance. |
