ARCHITECT@WORK announces further innovative exhibitors and talks at 2016 edition
ARCHITECT@WORK, which runs from 27 – 28 January within the National Hall at London’s Olympia, is a carefully curated trade fair for architects, designers and specifiers. Over 90 leading architectural suppliers from Europe will be showing innovative new products and offering the latest innovations in surface solutions, lighting technology as well as interior and exterior fixtures and fittings.
The organisers of ARCHITECT@WORK are now announcing a full talks programme and details of further exhibitors who will be presenting innovative new products at January’s show.
CLEVER FLOORING AND WALL SOLUTIONS
2Tec2 Chroma Global Flooring Solutions, a Belgian company that specializes in woven vinyl flooring, will introduce lustre, a new type of flooring that changes colour, depending on which angle and direction it is viewed.
Ceramic surface manufacturer, Emilceramica, will present ECWall. Developed from the desire to incorporate lighting gaps and impressions of transparency within walls, this system redefines the concept of the partition.
Italian floor and wall covering manufacturer, ABK Group Industrie Ceramiche, will launch Wall&Porcelain, a brand new wall tile within their Auto Levelling collection, which offers greater flexibility within the ceramic material.
Antalis will have the European Launch of Coala Walldesign Wallcoverings, a range of digitally printable wallpapers that transform any interior from homes, offices and receptions, through to shop displays, hotels and restaurants.
Pioneers of slip-resistant tiles, Agrob Buchtal, will be presenting ChromaPlural, a new range of floor tiles in 50 coordinated colours.
NEW LIGHTING DEVELOPMENTS
ACO Technologies, a world-leader in drainage, will be presenting a range of products which incorporate lighting. One of the products to be shown is the ACO Lightline, an illumination kit for ACO showers which fits directly into the grating and switches on the light when in contact with water and switches it off a few minutes after the shower is turned off.
Atelier Alain Ellouz is a specialist in creating backlit alabaster for architectural projects. Three new architectural lighting designs will be launched including the LUNA, a pure alabaster sphere suspended by a metal rod. The sphere is available in four sizes whilst the size and finish of the rods are customizable.
Established in 1925, Martini Light will be presenting Decimetro. This fixed indoor lighting blends minimalism with decoration to create ever-changing light flowers.
ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
Bluebeam Software, popular for the past 12 years with the world’s top architectural, engineering and construction firms, will present Revu15, a powerful software solution with a wide range of applications.
Spiral staircases feature in some of the UK’s most prestigious properties in the UK. Kallisto will present its latest developments in pre-cast concrete spiral and helical staircases tailored for domestic and commercial developments.
Kebony is the only sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood. Developed in Norway, the Kebony process enhances the properties of sustainable softwood with a bio-based liquid.
Boxmark Leather will be launching XTREME, a new, extremely hard-wearing leather which can be used on countless surfaces, both inside and out. This natural product combines the technical values of artificial leather with the tactile quality of real leather. The new product will be available in 40 colours offering architects and designers even more options.
THG Paris, specialists in luxury bathroom fittings and accessories, will have the UK launch of their Saint-Germain collection at ARCHITECT@WORK. This series elegantly marries metal with real vintage design, a heritage of French factories and workshops in the 1950s.
