Global product and service provider Environmental Biotech has been awarded the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Design for the Environment (DfE) accreditation in recognition of their green solutions.
Environmental Biotech’s biological drainage and grease trap products GES Plus™, Septic Aid™, Grease Blast™ and Drain Blast™ have met the stringent criteria of the programme that works with manufacturers to develop safer products that also meet high performance standards.
The EPA programme is designed to enable consumers to quickly identify and choose products that can help the environment and are safer for families.
The DfE logo means that each ingredient of the product has been screened by the EPA’s DfE scientific review team for potential human health and environmental effects.
Aziz Tejpar of Environmental Biotech said: “The goal of Environmental Biotech has always been to offer products that are safe for homes, businesses and the environment, but still work as well as, if not better than, traditional drain line chemicals.
“The DfE seal means that consumers and businesses can be confident that our products have been independently verified and are much safer option.”

All too often companies will use harsh chemical formulations to enhance the effectiveness of their products, and reduce costs, at the sacrifice of environmental and human safety.
