Novus Property Solutions’ ongoing commitment to the communities in which it operates has been recognised by paint brand Johnstone’s Trade.
The inaugural Community Spirit Award has been designed to recognise the positive impact contractors working in the decorating industry have on their communities. Novus was one of five contractors shortlisted after being able to demonstrate that responsible business is at the heart of its business strategy.
Novus was named Santander Responsible Business of the Year in 2014 and has been involved in a wide array of community projects over the past 12 months, including an ongoing partnership with Thistley Hough Academy in Stoke-on-Trent and an ambitious nursery makeover in South Africa earlier this year.
Its recognition came at the recent Johnstone’s Painter of the Year Awards, which was held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales.
